Khartoum- President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al Bashir, has assured workers that the salary increases will be applied as of* current January, with the aim to cope with the cost of living. The President has directed that actions should be taken to improve health insurance services and to include basic services*for pensioners*and their families in areas of education, health*and transport *Addressing workers, professionals and pensioners at Friendship Hall in Khartoum Thursday as part of celebrations marking*the 63rd independence anniversary, the President hailed the workers all over the country who are*planning and*implementing*projects in various*fields for interest of*the homeland and the citizens.
The event was attended by Assistant of the President of the Republic, Dr. Faisal Hassan Ibrahim, the Minister of Federal Government Chamber, Hamid Mumtaz, the Minister of Labor, Administrative Reform and Human Resources Development, Bahar Idris Abu Garda.
The President also said that more attention be given to the training and capacity building to acquire high skills for achieving* development, stressing that the government is keen to find solutions to challenges facing workers in the country.. President Al Bashir affirmed the importance of maintaining the country’s security, unity and stability, stressing that*the country has been targeted*in its resources and people, hailing the role patriots who contributed to the independence of the country. He added*that*the country will overcome the current economic crisis whatever the plots are.
