Khartoum: The Ministry of Commerce and Industry said the talks of inter-country trade which have started in the year 2015 are to resume next February and end by the advent of the year 2020. The ministry said the talks on commerce have gone far and will become the biggest economic bloc in the African continent. State Minister at the Ministry Trade and Industry Abu Al Bishr Abdulrahman Yousif affirmed in the press conference he held yesterday in SUNA that Sudan owns the preference in the inter-country trade of the Countries of Africa and plays a pivotal role noting that 450 million persons of the African continent population depend in their food on Sudan.
Yousif further announced the inauguration of the session number 36 of Khartoum International Fair from 21 to 28 of the current month of January at the fairs land in Buri neighborhood by First Vice President of the Republic 1st lt. Gen. Bakri Hassan Salih . Participants in the Fair are 15 countries of the European Union Countries and the African Union , Asian countries for the first time , 300 domestic and international companies as well as the participation of a number of states as they are endowed with comparative advantage and value added for making the product international to enable them conclude commercial transactions.
He highlighted the start of holding commodities bourses in some of the states like Sennar and Gedarif as a model, noting that the message of the fair is commercial , economic and cultural one and it is a platform for exhibiting goods and service as well as information related to exhibiting goods in addition to an opportunity for concluding transactions .
