Khartoum: The Commissioner of the African Peace and Security Council Ismail Shargi has described the support by the neighboring countries to the Central Africa Republic as “effective”
He voiced the said support as effective in a speech he delivered in the action of the African Peace and Security Council which was launched at the level of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the member countries on Saturday on the sidelines of the 32nd African summit which was held in the Ethiopian capital city Addis Ababa which has seen signing by initials the agreement of peace and reconciliation between the government of central Africa Republic (CAR) and fourteen armed movements.
Present during the signing ceremony were the Sudanese President Omer Al Bshir and the President of CAR Faustin-Archange Touadéra , representatives of the United Nations , the African union and the ambassadors of the diplomatic missions according to Anadol.
The security situation and fighting terrorism dominated the agenda of the African Peace and Security meeting.
Shargi outlined that Khartoum deal on CAR is good opportunity for bringing the fighting to an end calling for mobilizing the international community support for the deal.
