Khartoum – The Indian Embassy in Khartoum has organized the Indian Food Day during the period 29 – 31 January at Al-Salam Rotana Hotel.
The Festival was attended by official of the Sudanese government and members of the diplomatic corps, Indian community and representative of international organizations.
The Indian Ambassador hailed the pivotal role played by Sudan in establishing lasting peace and stability in the surrounding regions. He also expressed his appreciation to the Sudanese government for its role in the signature of the revitalized peace agreement of South Sudan.
The Indian Ambassador stressed that India will be the fastest growing economy in the world.
The festival included presenting several types of Indian meals with its distinguished taste.
