Malaysian Ambassador: Opening of Al-Fath Water Station Comes within the Framework of the UN Plan to Provide Clean Water

Khartoum – Commissioner of Karrari Locality, Balla Yousef, Malaysian Ambassador to Sudan, and Director of PETRONAS company inaugurated water station in Al-Fath area (1), in Karrari Locality, as initiative of the employees of PETRONAS and the Sudanese-Malaysian community.
Ambassador of the Republic of Malaysia to Sudan said that the project is part of the United Nations plan to provide clean water and development of the area, adding that there are projects have that had a great impact such as school and mosque and other services, pointing out that this project was successful with the participation of the Malaysian and Sudanese Community, PETRONAS and Karrari Locality.
For his part, the commissioner reiterated the importance of this project, praising the important role of companies and institutions on this achievement, pointing out that the area needs more services of electricity, water, health and education, valuing the role of the Sudanese Malaysian Community, the Embassy of Malaysia in Sudan, PERONAS and all contributors to this project.
Director of the Financial Department of the Department of Oil Production and Exploration at the Ministry of Oil, Gas and Minerals, Hisham Ahmed praised the efforts of the State of Malaysia and PETRONAS, pointing to the importance of this vital project, while PERONAS Director stressed that pure drinking water is the lifeblood, , indicating to the importance to provide services to citizen.
