Parliamentarian Committees to Visit Those Aggrieved by Protests

Khartoum :The Parliament Committee of Legislation, Justice and Human Rights has announced setting up fact-finding committees on the demonstrations seen by a number of Sudan’s states due to the economic crisis noting that the said committees will pay field visits to the states to check those aggrieved by the recent events.
Deputy chair of the committee Azhari Widtalla said the committee visited the Attorney General and inspected the progress of investigations outlining that the law will be enforced for realizing justice.
He noted that the committee will on Monday pay a three-day visit to the northern state to get reassured on the situation in the state particularly the security situation and the visit ill include the two localities of Dungla and Merowe
