Khartoum – Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Tourism and Investment at the Red Sea State, Samia Ali Ahmed announced that Sudan seeks to attract more than million foreign tourists in 2019,
“We have projects at the planning level, we have a tourist investment map for 2019, and there are programs at the level of planning and the level of infrastructure and investment and marketing offer,” Samia said..
She said, in an interview with Sputnik Agency, on the sidelines of the first day of Moscow International Travel and Tourism Fair, that there is a significant growth in the number of tourists coming to Sudan, pointing out that Sudan is seeking to become center for investment in tourism.
Moscow is hosting Moscow International Travel and Tourism Exhibition from March 12 to 14, with more than 1,800 companies from 54 foreign countries participating in the exhibition, including a number of Arab countries: Sudan, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Lebanon, Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco and Jordan..
