Khartoum- The Deputy Chairman of the Transitional Military Council (TMC), 1st. Lt. Gen. Mohamed Hamdan Daglo, has affirmed that the country won’t bear any more vacuum and that speedy solution should be found paving the way for formation of a government of technocrats and competencies to manage the affairs of the country.
Addressing a gathering of leaderships of the states of the country at the Friendship Hall in Khartoum yesterday, Daglo called for formation of committees in the various states to present initiatives of solutions, affirming that TMC maintains its door open for receiving proposals that can contribute to finding the necessary solutions.
The TMC Deputy Chairman vowed to bring to account any official proved involved in ending the sit-in before the General Command, saying that the TMC doesn’t want the revolution to deviate from its path as the change that had happened is a real one that should be for serving the homeland and not for the sake of private interests.
He called on the political parties and the civil society organizations to shoulder their national responsibilities, affirming that the TMC maintains full control on the security situation in the country, calling for inclusive dialogue for the sake of the Sudan.
Daglo pointed out that there are some circles who want happening of chaos and internationalization of the issue, which is not for the benefit of the Sudan.
He denied existence of differences that would lead to internationalization of the issue, affirming readiness of TMC to declare a government of technocrats at any time, stressing that the council isn’t against any person or a party as its goal is to maintain stability of the Sudan and reaching free and fair elections that is internationally and regional monitored.
The investigation would not betray the families of the martyrs and the youths of the revolution, the TMC Deputy Chairman said, noting that they are partners in the revolution.
