Khartoum- Chairman of the Transitional Military Council (TMC) 1st. Lt. Gen. Abdul-Fattah Al Burhan has stressed that TMC would not accept any solution that excludes any component of the Sudanese people as he declared TMC rejection to return of totalitarianism.
Addressing a gathering of members of the health and medical professions at the Friendship Hall in Khartoum yesterday, Al Burhan affirmed rejection of TMC to foreign interventions in the internal affairs of the Sudan, saying that the council welcomes the national initiatives.
The TMC Chairman stressed the importance of formation of a government to run the affairs of the country, affirming that the council hasn’t any condition for negotiations with another party, stressing that the TMC will not allow the Sudan to slide into sedition.
Al Burhan reiterated welcome of TMC for resumption of negotiations with the Forces of Freedom and Change (FFC) without exclusion of any Sudanese from the national solution, reiterating call on FFC for resumption of dialogue today before tomorrow.
He hailed all martyrs of the Sudan, paying tributes to the martyrs of the people’s revolution.
The TMC Chairman referred to the importance of the role of the medical and health professions in the development of the Sudan, pledging to provide all work facilities to the sector besides improving the work environment for the medical and health cadres.
Al Burhan affirmed that the Armed Forces will protect the security and unity of the Sudan, affirming that the Rapid Support Forces is genuine part of the Armed Forces.
He pointed out that TMC wants to provide security and stability during the transitional period to reach holding of free and fair elections that is internationally monitored, affirming that the council doesn’t want to exclude anyone.
