School Year Postponed to Start on July 7th Instead of June 30th

Khartoum – Khartoum State Governor, Lt. Gen. Ahmed Abdoun Hammad chaired yesterday a meeting that include the former governor, director of Ministry of Education, Abdallah Mohammed Nasr, Health Ministry General Manager, Babikir Mohamed Ali and the Secretary General of Khartoum State Government.
The meeting discussed the preparation for the new school year and the implementation of the teaching staff movements plan.
The meeting decided to postpone the start of the school year to begin on July 7th instead of June 30th as was planned.
For his part, the General Manager of the Ministry of Education in Khartoum State, Abdallah Mohammed Nasr said that the postponement decision comes to allow for more preparation by the families to meet the requirements of the schools including the registration.
Meanwhile, Khartoum State Governor directed the concerned authorities to give more attention to the health environment through inspecting the cafeterias and the regular medical check for the students.
