Khartoum – Sudanese Professionals Association (SPA) held the Transitional Military Council (TMC) and the security services in North Kordofan the responsibility for the massacre of AL-Obeid City, demanding the need to arrest the perpetrators and bring them to trial as they are known, and the pictures and videos confirm who are involved in those events.
SPA leading figure, Ismail Al-Taj stressed that the duty of the state and the TMC is to protect citizens and stop any violations, calling on TMC to immediately arrest the perpetrators, pointing out that the investigation committees are working on the absence of facts instead of reaching the truth.
He said, in a news conference, that what happened in Al-Obeid will not stop the revolutionary tide and that the revolution will continue, stressing the peaceful of the revolution, saying that any movement is a constitutional right and that the military council will be responsible for any violence that may occur in Thursday’s demonstration.
He said that technical committees between the TMC and Forces of Freedom and Change (FFC) are currently working on revising the constitutional document in preparation for the start of the negotiations expected to be on Thursday, denying their use of demonstrators as fuel for the revolution but said they are fuel for change, rejecting the call for non-participation of students in demonstrations, indicating that all were fuel for the revolutions that took place in Sudan, and that their participation expresses their positions and their rights.
