Khartoum – Governor of Khartoum, Lt. Gen. Ahmed Abdoun Hammad Inaugurated the intermediate waste compression station in Ombadda locality, West of Omdurman.
The governor pledged to complete services for citizens and support hygiene vehicles and make a qualitative leap in environmental projects in the state to make Khartoum the capital of beauty, besides providing services to all citizens, praising the efforts of the Supreme Council for the Environment.
For his part, Secretary General of the Supreme Council for the Environment, Dr. Bushra Hamid said that the opening of the plant is one of the strategic plan systems that were developed in cooperation with Japanese experts, announcing the opening of a number of intermediate stations soon, adding that cleanliness is a community work.
Salah Ahmed Osman, director of the Khartoum State Hygiene Supervisory Authority, said the opening of the plant will have a positive impact on cleaning, calling for more efforts to create a risk-free environment.
