Moonlight: Youth Representation in Power Is Important

Youth segment in Sudan represents the strong current, and they constitute the hope of upcoming brilliant future, and pillar of unification of the domestic front, and they have an important active role in the political movement which the country has witnessed.
The youth have played a great role in change process through their glorious revolution which astonished the world by its peaceful positions; the revolution has achieved the strong ground for dashing the democratic system, justice and freedom in the Sudan. I think that this is a great opportunity for the democratic transformation in time has witnessed developments and political changes in international community because Sudan is not separated from the world’s States.
Youth revolution in the Sudan has specific evidences lead to the change process which found approval from all the Sudanese citizens indoors and outdoors because it constitutes a rare phenomenon in the Sudanese political arena since its independence in 1956. This glorious revolution has motives assisted in its breakout in all the Sudanese towns, because the Sudanese citizens eager to apply the democratic system, freedom and complete justice.
All the citizens have seen the disadvantages of the Al-Bashir’s regime which ruled the country three decades dealt with dictatorship so that all the population has rejected the unfair former regime by solidity and by persistence and determination. From this starting point the youth would have given opportunity in order to participate in the ruling of the country because they have conceptions and opinions will help and lead to the complete change and push the development process in all aspects.
The revolution exposed the youth segment ability, political, economic, cultural and social field so that they trusty to contribute in establishment of democracy in the country. Participation of the youth in ruling the country comes in the context of their efforts which overthrow Al-Bashir’s regime and change the political status quo in the country so that their participation is an important especially in upcoming parliament.
The formation of the council of ministers contains some youth this is really considered an important step because they are real owners of the political movement which transformed Sudan from totalitarian rule to the democratic system and construct the solid ground for establishing the pillars of freedom and justice, all of these connected together will pave the way to create an appropriate atmosphere for the free expression which was lost into the past.
In order to keep this chance and close the door before the military coup all of us should put hand- in – hand to achieving the strong clear honest democracy system in our country Sudan this is not occurring unless to provide an opportunity to the youth to participate in ruling the country.
