Khartoum- Prime Minister Dr. Abdalla Hamdok has affirmed the government’s keenness to enhance joint cooperation between Sudan and Saudi Arabia to serve the interests of the two countries.
This came when the Prime Minister received at his office here yesterday the Saudi Ambassador to Sudan, Ali bin Hassan Jafar, who conveyed to him the congratulations of the Kingdom’s leadership on the formation of the transitional government.
During the meeting, the Saudi ambassador presented invitation of the Saudi leadership to the Prime Minister to visit the Kingdom, explaining that the Prime Minister promised to make the visit as soon as possible.
Meanwhile, Dr. Hamdok also met yesterday the Chinese Ambassador to Sudan, who conveyed to him the Chinese government’s congratulations on the formation of the transitional government, referring to the distinguished diplomatic relations between the two countries, affirming commitment of China to support the programs of the transitional period.
The Prime Minister affirmed the strong and deeply-rooted relations between Sudan and China.
In a separate context, Hamdok also met yesterday with the delegation of the American Carter Center.
The delegation of the center congratulated Hamdok on his appointment as Prime Minister and the formation of the transitional government, affirming readiness of Carter Center to support the programs and projects of the transitional government.
