Sudan and Libya Agree to Form Joint Ministerial Committee for Cooperation between the Two Countries

Khartoum – Sudan and Libya agreed to form a joint ministerial committee for cooperation between the two countries.
The Prime Minister, Dr. Abdullah Hamdouk met, here yesterday, Ahmed Omer Maiteq, Vice President of the Libyan Presidential Council of the Government of National Accord and the accompanying delegation, in the presence of the Minister of Cabinet Affairs Ambassador Omer Bashir Manis and Foreign Minister, Asma Mohamed Abdullah.
The meeting discussed all aspects of cooperation between the two countries in all fields, especially in the economic field, where the Libyan delegation expressed its desire to resume Libyan investments in the country.
The Libyan official congratulated Dr. Abdullah Hamdouk on his assumption of the post of prime minister, the formation of the transitional government and the national consensus on the arrangements for the transitional phase.
Maitig’s visit program includes talks with the Chairman of the Sovereign Council, First Lieutenant General Abdul Fattah Al Burhan, Vice President of the Council, First Lieutenant General Mohamed Hamdan Deglo.
